On my second year at the university it was time to work on a game together once again. I decided I wanted to take part in my classmate’s a bit more serious concept: Sound of Life. The game takes place in a war-torn city where the player is put in the shoes of a rescue worker. I was the lead artist and mainly responsible for creating the environment props but I also got to be the “actress” when we decided to use motion capture for the animations. We simply found out it is really really difficult to develop a serious game. If we only had a little bit more time to work on it, focus on the story as well as add better introductory of the gameplay, it would have been nice!

I combined most of the props that I created for the game and I also added a few WIP screenshots of a modular building that were never no longer needed in the game. Thus, never finished.
